Summer Destination 2018 Festival to Be Held in Da Nang Next Week

Da Nang Tourism Department will organize a 5-day festival in Da Nang on June 16-20 to attract more tourist to the city and show a huge tourist potential of the region.

The festival will be held under 'Da Nang – Summer Destination 2018' theme and take place in the Eastern Sea Park. A wide range of activities is planned both to entertain the visitors and let them get involved into the activities. There will be several competitions including cooking and bartender competition and a boat race. Visitors are invited to try parasailing and kayaking and participate in decoration of coracles (small racing boats). Yoga, music and kite shows will take place in the frameline of the festival, too. 

There will be a lot of cultural folk performances, the Da Nang tourism photos exhibition and free outdoor film screenings as well as many food and drink stalls and souvenir shops.

The authorities say this year's festival will put more accent on recreational activities and marine tourism promoting Da Nang as a perfect detination both for leisure and event tourism.
