The first 18 km airport line will connect the Phnom Penh international airport, the largest airport in the country, with the Central Market, or Psar Thmey. It is estimated that the construction will cost between 800 mln and 1 billion US dollar.

If the maiden sky train line proves to be a success, then more routes will be added to the network. A Chinese company has already expressed their interest to join the second phase of the project.
