Hong Kong Airlines Now Fly Direct to Manila

The popular Hong KongManila route has now 2,500 more weekly seats with Hong Kong Airlines launching their direct service between the two destinations.

There is a steadily growing demand for travel between Hong Kong and the Philippines and even though the route is already served by a number of airline companies including Cathay Pacific, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and AirAsia Zest, there is enough room for a new player. Filipinos represent the largest ethnic minority in Hong Kong and the airline's intention is to become the airline of choice for them for all travels between Hong Kong and the Philippines.

By adding Hong KongManila route to their portfoglio, Hong Kong Airlines enable smooth travel to the Philippines for their customers flying from destinations other than the company's home hub, including the North American destinations like Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Flight HX781 departs Hong Kong International Airport at 9.30pm and lands at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 11pm; the return flight HX782 leaves at 6.55am and arrives to Hong Kong at 8.55am with round fare for economy class ticket starting from USD182 and total flight duration of two hours.
