The routes which will be operated by Bangkok Airways under the codeshare with Lao Airlines are rountrips Bangkok–Vientiane (1 hour 15 minutes) and Bangkok–Luang Prabang (2 hours). Similarly, Lao Airlines will put Bangkok Airways' code on its roundtrips Vientiane–Bangkok, Luang Prabang–Bangkok, Luang Prabang–Chian Mai and Pakse–Bangkok. Bangkok Airways will also grant access to their lounge and provide in-flight meals for Lao Airlines passengers flying on codesharing flights.
This step will help both airlines to expand their network of routes on offer and provide customers more choices and flexibility for their business and leisure travel between Lao PDR and Thailand.
