The promising project of a new airport in Ho Chi Minh City has received approval of an evaluation council and will be sent to to the government and theNational Assembly.

The promising project of a new airport in Ho Chi Minh City has received approval of an evaluation council and will be sent to to the government and the National Assembly.

New airport should support the recent Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, which operates more than 20 million passengers per year instead of planned 13 million. As expected first phase of the new airport’s construction will be completed up to 2020 year and will cost 7 million USA dollars. At this step the airport will have two runways. After the second phase in 2030 year it will have capacity 100 million passengers.
