It is organized by Regattas Asia in cooperation with the Samui Yacht Club Regatta under the patronage of the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand and the Sports Authority of Thailand. The event will last the whole week from May 26 to June 2. It will be hosted by Centara Grand Beach Resort which is considered by many to be the ‘Home of the Samui Regatta’.
All boats should follow the rules and safety regulations. It is allowed to carry advertising on boats which should be announced beforehand.
Following the tradition since its beginning in 2002, the Samui Regatta welcomes both famous yachtsmen and proficient sailing experts from all over the world to Ko Samui. During the Regatta social events will be held every night as well as the Gala Dinner. The participants will be awarded prizes in each class and division each day and overall for the first, second and third places. Besides, the Organising Committee may establish other prizes.
