Daily Flights to Manila to Be Performed by Hong Kong Airlines from June 1

Hong Kong Airlines start daily flights to Manila, the Philippines from June 1, 2018. The flight will be performed on Airbus 320 equipped as a single class configuration carrying 174 passengers in Economy Class.

The official figures of the Hong Kong Tourism Board show that arrivals from the Philippines have reached a 13 per cent growth in comparison with 2016 amounting to almost 895,000 in 2017. 

The new route of Hong Kong Airlines will meet the increasing need for travelling from the Philippines to Hong Kong and other popular destinations in North America. It has long been awaited for and now the customers will have more travel opportunities.

Four air carriers already have direct service between Manila and Hong Kong with average flight time 2 hours 10 minutes. 

Manila with its 1,780,148 people (according to 2015 census) is the most densely populated city in the world, the capital of the Philippines, a major centre for commerce, finance and banking, transport, tourism, retailing, legal services, accounting, as well as culture. The Port of Manila is the largest in the country and one of the top five in the world.
