Century River Cruises to Offer Cruise on Century Glory, New-built Vessel, in 2019

Century River Cruises, the Chinese company, is planning to run a new river cruise vessel, modern and comfortable, on the Yangtze River in 2019. It will be the 8th of this company, but the first newly built since 2013.

The Century Glory, 492 feet long and 70 feet wide, which is to sail in September next year, will carry 650 passengers, becoming the biggest ship on the river.A cinema, an atrium lobby, an indoor bar, a sun deck bar, an observation lounge, two dining rooms, a gym, a self-service laundry and a convenience store will be available for travellers.

The ship will be operated with the newest technologies – electronic propulsion, low-emission systems and a rudder propeller. Large families can use connecting cabins combining luxury and comfort. Taking a river cruise is an inexpensive way of travelling chosen by more people nowadays.

Century River Cruises was founded 18 years ago. At present seven river ships run on the Yangtze, the longest Asian river which is about 6.000 km long. Cruising along this mysterious river, travellers will see ancient architectural buildings, visit far-away villages and learn about Chinese history.
