The number of travelers going through the main airport of Thailand has increased after the lifting of the emergency decree by the caretaker government. As expected the coming Songkran, which will be held from 9 to 18 April, will promote more travels in Thailand.
As Raweewan Netarakavesana, Suvarnabhumi International Airport Director said that trust and the interest of international tourists to the airport is gradually increasing. During Songkran holiday Suvarnabhumi Airport will also offer more international and domestic flights as this time is one of the most popular for traveling. More than 36 000 passengers will be added to the usual capacity of the airport in Songkran.
