Mass transit system in Bangkok offers unlimited free rides on Skytrain (BTS) for elderly passengers who older than 60 years. They will be able to enjoy free BTS during all Songkran holidays from 13 to 15 April this year.

If free rides are available for foreign elderly passenger or not is now unknown. You can try to take your passport to get free ride. Thai passengers in years have to show their ID at the ticket booth.

The Administration of Skytrain also encourage youngsters to take their relatives to travel on BTS with them.
