HCM city will expand Tan Son Nhat Airport

The Transport Ministry of Vietnam will get 7.63 hectares of land from the Ministry of Defense for expansion the main country’s airport Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh city.

The Transport Ministry of Vietnam will get 7.63 hectares of land from  the Ministry of Defense for expansion the main country’s airport Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh city.

Its planned capacity for the next year was 13 million passengers a year, but it already serves more than 20 million passengers in a year. The airport's limit is 25 million passengers and the expansion will help to cope with the growing number of travellers.

The direction of the Tan Son Nhat Airport plans to expand the number of aircraft parking spots and parking places for cars.
