Mon Asian Food Festival to Be Held in Vietnam Late April

The festival sponsored by Vietnamese construction and real estate group HD Mon Holdings will be held in Ha Noi on 20-14 April and Ha Long City on 27-29 April devoted to the celebration of the national tourism year.

In Hanoi the festival will take place at Mon City My Dihn apartment complex, in Halong City it will be at the 30/10 Square, with free entrance.

The visitors will see and taste culinary delicacies, watch food presentations along with art shows every day since 10 in the morning. In Ha Long City the guests are invited to make hot-air balloon trips and participate in a charity run. The Asian cuisine will be presented at about 100 display stalls, 70 of which will be run by home companies and 30 by companies from Cambodia, Japan, Lao, Myanmar, the Republic of Korea and Singapore. Much attention will be paid to food safety: the participating staff has to get a health certificate three months in advance and all the ingredients for cooking will be obtained from the supermarket chain Fivimart. Not to deal with cash during the festival coupons will be used for convenience of both parties.
