Thai railways celebrate the 117th anniversary

From 23 to 28 March Thailand will celebrate the 117th anniversary of state Railways. During these days which were named “Thai Railway Week” a lot of interesting events will be offered for travelers.

From 23 to 28 March Thailand will celebrate the 117th anniversary of state Railways. During these days which were named “Thai Railway Week” a lot of interesting events will be offered for travelers.

The State Railways of Thailand also launched promotion for the most popular destinations. The symbol of this 117th anniversary should be special steam train trip from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong station) to Ayutthaya, it’s an old Thai tradition to meet some holidays with this train. The tickets cost just 220 baht, but usually they sell out quickly. The train will leave Bangkok on Sunday at 8AM and will arrive in Ayutthaya at 10:30AM.
