Phang Nga Province to Open InterContinental Yao Yai Resort in 2020

The agreement has been signed on developing the InterContinental Yao Yai Resort on Yao, the biggest island of the province. It will become a dream destination to those looking for pristine nature and tranquility. 

The new resort will offer to tourists four kinds of accommodation. The top floor suites with panoramic ocean view will delight anyone. A deep pool, water slides and family trekking programmes to explore the surroundings will cater the most exacting taste. More picky guests might like tropical villas on the lagoon or one-, two- or three-bedroom beachfront pool villas with breath-takingoceanic views. Well-to-do travellers will appreciate bars and restaurants, a gym and spa centre, luxurious conference halls and organization of weddings. 

Picturesque Phang Nga Bay with famous James Bond Island (Koh Talu), limestone cliffs with caves and mangrove is situated within easy reach to airports in Phuket and Krabi. Natural attractions – the white cliffs, archeological sites, mangrove trees andsmall picturesque islands will add to the charm of the holiday spent in the new resort.

Phang Nga Bay welcomes more than five million travellers every year. With the opening of a new resort the number will considerably rise and Yao Yai Resort might compete with neighbouring Phuket and Krabi.
