Nomadic Tourism to Appear in Indonesia

The Tourism Ministry of Indonesia has proposed the development of nomadic tourism in the country. As Indonesia possesses magnificent natural variety and unique islands, it might be chosen for their journey by a number of lovers of nature.

Nomadic tourism has been recently spreading widely in the countries rich in nomadic culture and heritage. The most popular destinations are Mongolia, Tibet and Nepal with both private and small group tours as well as luxury tours enjoying great popularity.

For the purpose of promotion of the nomadic touristm in Indonesia liberalization of the use of seaplanes, helicopters and lifeboats is necessary to make the trips more convenient. Building various amenities is quite workable by using temporary materials. This can be done on distant islands which are now not easyto get to. While construction of stationary airports and hotels looks challenging, nomadic tourism might be a way out. Tourists will be able tovisit far-away islands, such as Maluku and many more which can be reached by seaplanes or planes landing on water. As currently there are no hotels in the most remote destinations, visitors will be encouraged to live in caravans, camps or home pods. They are all temporary kinds of accommodation that can be easily moved to other places but let nomadic tourism develop right now.
