As a forth part of Don Mueang Airport’s expansion, it will be
connected to the Bangkok’s transportation system by monorail, the
Airports of Thailand reported.

As Don Mueang director, Jaturongkapol Sodmanee said, the total cost of the project is Bt3 billion, it includes the expansion of Terminals 1 and 2, the construction of 7-floors parking, new runways and taxi ways. The monorail will connect two Terminals of the Airport with dark green and red commuter rail system lines.

On 8 March the Don Mueang Airport celebrated 100 year anniversary as the oldest Airport in the region.
