Phuket Bike Week Coming Soon

Phuket Bike Week which has taken place annually will be held for the 24th time during the Songkran Festival in different locations this year. A great number of tourists are expected to come. 

The event is supposed to promote tourism in Phuket and stimulate its economy. The tattoo art and Thai music will also be in the focus. More than 100.000 tourists from 30 countries are expected to come.
The organisers discussedthe measures to be taken to make the event memorable and the environment morefriendly for the visitors. Special attention will be paid to waste collecting,tree planting, charity actions to raise the awareness of the necessity to keepthe environment clean and safe.New signs in different languages will be installed to warnthe tourist that smoking, vaping or any other forms of polluting the beachescould be punished severely. The offenders might get up to one year in jail orbe fined of up to B100.000.Medical aid will be available in all points of the race.The coming vehicles will be checked by the PLTO (Phuket LandTransport Office). Safe driving will be encouraged, participants are expectedto wear helmets and possess a driving license.

China extends visa-free entry to 12 European countries

China has extended visa-free travel to Poland, Australia, and New Zealand until the end of 2025.
