As earlier planned long-haul low-fare Thai Air Asia X should be opened in Thaialnd in March this year, but because of the political crisis in the country the launching has been postponed indefinitely.

Tassapon Bijleveld, a major TAAX stakeholder said: “We review the political effect on the market every two months, and until the turbulence eases we will not start”. 47 countries issued warnings about the dangers of visiting Thailand, and the foreign tourists are the main market of Air Asia X.
