Return flights from Phu Quoc depart at 13:50. Bangkok Airways utilises a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft to serve this route and they are configured for 70 passengers.
Travel industry analysts in Southeast Asia say the added flight will help satisfy demand for travel over the Chinese New Year and for the remainder of the peak tourist season in the region. News in AsiaBangkok Airways has announced a stopgap increase in its flight frequencies from Bangkok to Phu Quoc. The Thai carrier says it will add one flight a week on the route to the popular Vietnamese holiday isle beginning this week and through to the 24 March.
