The longest bridge to be constructed in Hanoi

To mark Ha Noi Liberation Day the Administration of the city launched the project of new bridge' construction, which will connect the central Hanoi with Noi Bai International Airport.

To mark Ha Noi Liberation Day the Administration of the city launched the project of new bridge' construction, which will connect the central Hanoi with Noi Bai International Airport. As expected, the bridge should be officially opened on 10 October 2014 year. On that day the Hanoi will mark the 60th anniversary of the capital city's Liberation Day.

The bridge will be equipped with five A-shaped concrete pylons, representing five gates to Hanoi. It should become the longest cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam.The project will cost about US$63.4 million. The bridge will shorten driving time from the downtown not also to Airport, but to urban zones and industrial areas such as North Thang Long-Van Tri Gia, Lam-Yen Vien and Dong Anh-Co Loa.
