Thai carrier Bangkok Airways which operates the most popular domestic destinations plans to open new route to the Northern Thailand. New flights from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, closed to Golden Triangle, will be launched on 28 March this year.
The route will be operated two times a day with A320 aircraft. The flight will take just 80 minutes. The flights from Bangkok will depart the Suvarnabhum Airport at 7:35 (PG231) and at 18:05 (PG235), the return flights will leave Chiang Rai at 09:45 (PG232) and at 20:10 (PG236).
Chiang Rai got more popularity as the new bridge was opened from Thailand to Laos, the city also became the part of the route from Southern China to Thailand through Laos.
