In the frame of the anti-government Bangkok “shutdown'” campaign by opposition Bangkok Authorities increased the number of public bus parking places. Yesterday they reported, that the number of bus parking venues will be reduced from 42 to the usual 2.
This decision was taken because the most of passengers now use their regular routes and the road traffic the the Thai capital back to normal. The remaining shuttle bus parks are situated on the Srinakarin elevated road (Kanchanaphisek expressway) and on Zone 3 near the Lat Krabang airport link (ARL) station.
During Bangkok “shutdown” a drop of passenger number was only 7% from normal, it’s not too bad as the Bangkok Authorities said.
