Passengers on debut Thai Vietjet flight to Dalat get model catwalk show

Passengers aboard Thai Vietjet Air’s inaugural flight to Dalat were provided with a unique spectacle on Monday. Instead of demure hostesses wheeling trolleys down the aisle of the Airbus A320, passengers were feted with the sight of bikini clad models using it as an impromptu catwalk.

Many of the passengers whipped out their smartphones to capture video footage of the event. A significant chunk of the videos were later posted on social media platforms like Facebook with titles including Thai Vietjet replaces trolleys with dollies.

Media sources later noted the catwalk show was a one-off and in future the hostesses will be wearing the airline’s standard red uniform. Thai Vietjet flights from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport to Dalat in the Vietnamese highlands now operate once a day in each direction on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

12GO ASIA’s travel team say Dalat is a former colonial retreat with temperate weather which has led to Vietnamese people nicknaming it the city of endless spring. Our image of the Thai Vietjet Air catwalk models was supplied with courtesy by Manager Online.
