Sriwijaya Air offers additional flights during Chinese New Year

On the eve of Chinese New Year the third largest Indonesian carrier Sriwijaya Air has decided to increase the frequency of domestic flights.

On the eve of Chinese New Year the third largest Indonesian carrier Sriwijaya Air has decided to increase the frequency of domestic flights. From yesterday to 4 February the airline offers 11,760 more seats.

The additional flights are operated on the most popular routes among Chinese tourists: Jakarta-Pangkalpinang, Jakarta-Pontianak and Jakarta-Tanjung Pandan. This routes are served 5-9 times a day during Chinese New Year holidays.  

The number of additional seats during Chinese holidays this year is about 68% more that in 2013. Every year the number of flights at this time is growing up.
