Because of the landslides the section of National Highway 6 between Ha Noi’s Xuan Mai Town and Hoa Binh City in the northern Vietnam needs repair. 16,2 million USA dollars will be invested in the road’s upgrade.
National Highway 6 is the only road connecting Ha Noi with the northwest of the country. It also needs the expansion as the vehicles’ number grow very fast.
Another new road project in Vietnam is the construction of 30-km section from the Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village in Son Tay Town (Ha Noi) to National Highway 6 next to Hoa Binh City. Total cost of this big project is 102 million USA dollars.
