Thai Smile flies between Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and the Malaysian airport in Sabah State on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The airline’s update noted that the flights had only been suspended which leaves the door open in case increased demand warrants relaunching the service.
THAI apologised for scrapping the service and advised passengers with reservations for flights after the 1 September to contact their nearest office. The scrapping of THAI’s services from Bangkok means there will no longer be direct flights from Thailand to North Borneo.
