Taxi drivers in Bangkok staged a rally today

 Today, 4 January 20 taxi drivers staged a rally in front of the Royal Thai Police headquarters in the center of Bangkok to with a view to express dissatisfaction.

Today, 4 January 20 taxi drivers staged a rally in front of the Royal Thai Police headquarters in the center of Bangkok to with a view to express dissatisfaction with the prolonged political turmoil which deprives them of their earnings. The protesters submitted an open letter to the Chief of the Royal Thai Police they were against opposition and said that they have repeatedly been attacked by the members of mass antigovernment protests.

During today's meeting taxi drivers blocked some roads and occupied stretches of Ratchadamnoen Road. They also threatened to block 20 major intersections during next rally on 13 January.
