US band OneRepublic to play Bangkok Impact Arena next month

US pop-rock group OneRepublic are all set to make their debut performance in front of a Thai audience. The band will be jetting into the Thai capital and are due on stage at the Muang Thong Thani Complex’s Impact Arena on the 21 September.

The Bangkok date is a stop on OneRepublic’s 16th Honda Civic Annual Tour. The world tour kicked off in the US Midwest city of Kansas on the 7 July and has so far taken the band right across the US and Canada. Limited Asian gig venues include Taipei, Singapore and Hong Kong. The latter is the final date before Bangkok.

Formed in 2002, OneRepublic released their first album five years later. Hits since then include the landmark Apologize, Good Life and Secrets. Set lists on the current Honda tour have included these songs plus the likes of Rumour Has It and Counting Stars.

Tickets for OneRepublic live in Bangkok have been on sale since the 24 June, but 12GO ASIA says agencies such as ThaiTicketMajor still have some available on their websites. OneRepublic are live at Muang Thong Thani on the 21 September. Doors will be open one hour prior to the start of the 20:30 performance.
