Myanmar Airways offers to discover South Korea and Japan

In the first quarter of 2014 Myanmar Airways International plans to introduce new routes to Japan and South Korea, it’s a big step in the Airline’s expansion in Asia.

In the first quarter of 2014 Myanmar Airways International (MAI) plans to introduce new routes to Japan and South Korea, it’s a big step in the Airline’s expansion in Asia.

Last year MAI operated just several charters, but in 2014 year it will launch weekly commercial flights to Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo with 120 and 180-seat aircraft. South Korea and Japan are a large tourist market which would contribute significantly alter the tourism sector in the Myanmar.

Korean Air will also operate Yangon Seoul according to code-share agreements.
