Tourists who arrive at LEGOLAND have to show their boarding pass to get a 30 per cent reduction on the standard admission fee. In Malaysia, AirAsia flies to Johor Bahru’s Sultan Ismail Airport from Kuala Lumpur, Penang Island, Sibu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
AirAsia says people wishing to take advantage of this money-saver need to be quick. The discount is available for flights taken before the 31 August. There is then a grace period through to the 15 September for boarding pass holders to redeem their cut-price LEGOLAND tickets.
12GO ASIA notes that LEGOLAND Johor Bahru is less than 30kms from Sultan Ismail Airport. There is a good choice of accommodation in the locality of LEGOLAND which includes the park’s own hotel. These come with the bonus of being cheaper than Singapore hotels on the opposite side of the Johor Strait.
