The Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) launched the City Tour service at the beginning of the month and is currently assessing whether to add extra buses once the 60-day trial period is over. The City Tour bus follows a circular route from the Hanoi Opera House.
En route, the bus takes in major attractions like the Hoan Kiem historic district, Thang Long Citadel and Tran Quoc Temple at West Lake. The vehicle is wheelchair friendly, offers wireless internet connectivity and is fitted with a convertible roof to shelter passengers on the upper deck from any sudden monsoon storms.
Hanoi is the gateway to the north of Vietnam. After taking in all the sights and experiences of the city most tourists travel to locations such as Sapa and Halong Bay or take the southbound route to Hue, Danang, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh. 12GO provides convenience when buying tickets for travel on these routes.
