Poor roads hinder tourism in the Great Mekong Subregion

The Greater Mekong Subregion including Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, experiencing difficulties in the development because of poor infrastructure and roads. At this time the officials develop a plan for development of the Subregion.

The Greater Mekong Subregion including Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, experiencing difficulties in the development because of poor infrastructure and roads. During last inspections the officials noted particularly that the road from border city Kratie in Cambodia to Vietnam was extended 230km but does not meet standards.

At this time the officials of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia develop a plan for development of the Subregion and for special tours through all of the three countires. It's expected that the trip will start at Angkor Wat in Cambodia go through Vat Phou in Laos, Central Highlands in Vietnam and finish at Hoi An city of central Vietnam. The governments of three countries plan to offer travellers comfortable trip by air and land transportation.
