Last Sunday the Skytrain (BTS) in Bangkok noted the maximum daily revenue. During the mass antigovernment demonstration in the capital of Thailand about 767,305 trips were made in one day.

Last Sunday the Skytrain (BTS) in Bangkok noted the maximum daily revenue. During the mass antigovernment demonstration in the capital of Thailand about 767,305 trips were made in one day. The most popular stations were Mo Chit, Siam, Asok, Sala Daeng, Chidlom. Because of the incredible number of passengers the operators at those BTS stations let people go through them without buying a tickets and pay at the destination station.

Last Sunday BTS noted a record amount of revenue in the history, but not the maximum attendance. The demonstrators brought Skytrain’s Authorities unprecedented profit to the tune of 20 million baht in a day.
