New Nok Air route to Myanmar will promote border trade

Cross-border trade between Thailand and Myanmar will rise significantly after the launch of Nok Air new flights Mae Sot-Mawlamyine. The passengers on the first flight this Sunday will be about 30 Thai and Myanmar businessmen.


Cross-border trade between Thailand and Myanmar will rise significantly after the launch of Nok Air new flights Mae Sot-Mawlamyine. Trade will be increased by the launch the Mae Sot special economic zone and the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in addition.

The passengers on the first flight Mae Sot-Mawlamyine this Sunday will be about 30 Thai and Myanmar businessmen. The requests for accommodation in Mawlamyine is expected to grow as air travels to the city will become more popular.
