The new bus route is opened from Thailand to Laos

Thai company The Transport Co Ltd reported the opening new 11th bus route through new 4th Thailand-Laos Friendship Bridge at the north border.

Thai company The Transport Co Ltd reported the opening new 11th bus route through new 4th Thailand-Laos Friendship Bridge at the north border. The new route will depart Thai city Chiang Rai (2th Bus Terminal) and arrive to Huay Xay in Laos' Bokeo province through Chiang Khong (Thai border city).

It should be 4 or 8 rides by this route every day with air-conditioned bus with 46 seats. The price for one-way trip from Chiang Rai to Bokeo is 220 baht, from Chiang Khong to Bokeo is 30 baht, the transfer to cross the bridge – 20. Travel time between ends is about 4 hours. New route should to ease the transportation in the region and promote development of the tourism.
