Nopparat Karunyavanich warned that most will arrive on night buses from 04:00 onwards and there will be a second busy period from 16:00 to 20:00. He added that the Morchit terminus for buses from the north and northeast is bracing for the arrival of 80,000 passengers or more.
Mr Karunyavanich carried on by saying the other two terminals, Ekkamai and the Sai Tai Mai Southern, are expecting a similar influx between them. He finished off by saying the Transport Company had asked taxi cooperatives and other public transport operators to make sure there are enough vehicles and drivers to take the arriving passengers to their final destinations in Bangkok.
