Koh Samui beach bar to host Paradise music and culture expo

The Beach Bar Koh Samui is the venue for an exciting cultural and musical extravaganza this weekend. The Chaweng Noi Beach establishment is all set to welcome top names in the alternative music industry as well as the likes of professional Thai cooks and tai chi tutors.

The organisers of Paradise Island say Thailand’s very own Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, Pharcyde from the US and leading Japanese DJ Kentaro are among acts who have confirmed they will attend. As well as the top tunes, festivalgoers will be able to take boat trips around the bay, learn the rudiments of tai chi and cook Thai delicacies.

Soundcrash from London is staging Paradise Island on the 15 and 16 April. The entertainment on both days begins at midday and runs through to 02:00 the following morning. Soundcrash has long experience in organising similar events which include the legendary Soundwave Festival in Croatia.

12GO ASIA says Chaweng Noi Beach is easily reached from most parts of Koh Samui. The team notes that it is also Songkran Festival and tickets to the island are a little bit hard to come by at the minute. Despite this, there are still some available and it is a good idea to buy now if going to the Paradise Island Festival.
