Fares increase for 3 expressways from today

The tolls for using
three expressway routes in Bangkok
will be increased from today 1 September. They
will be raised by 5-10
baht.

According the Ministry of Transport the tolls for using
three expressway routes in Bangkok
will be increased from today 1 September. Deputy Minister has signed a
ministerial announcement on the fares increase on 21st August this year.

T
he changes will affect the Chalerm Mahanakhon expressway
(1st-stage), the Si Rat expressway (2nd-stage), and the Burabhawithi expressway
(or BangnaChonburi route). Starting today the tolls will be raised by 5-10
baht and an additional amount of 10-30 satang per kilometer for the section
beyond the first 20
kilometers on the Burabhawithi expressway.
