Zones for motorcycles will be introduced on roads of Jakarta

With a view to reduce accidents and to increase safety on the Jakarta’s roads the Jakarta Transportation Council (DTKJ) suggested Authorities to introduce special zones for motorcyclists at intersections.

 


With a view to reduce accidents and to increase safety on the Jakarta’s roads the Jakarta Transportation Council (DTKJ) suggested Authorities to introduce special zones for motorcyclists at intersections.

The neighboring cities such as Tangerang and Bekasi already have advanced stop lines (ASLs), that was positively affected on the traffic. The traffic conflicts were reduced from 133% per 1,000 vehicles to 24%!

Now traffic police of Jakarta is searching for intersections which needs updating in the first place.
