Vietnam has started the construction of the new expressway

Two days ago the building of Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway was started. This US$1.4 billion project should promote socio-economic development in the central region of Vietnam.

Two days ago the building of Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway, which will connect Da Nang-Chu Lai (Quang Nam), Dung Quat (Quang Ngai) and Nhon Hoi (Binh Dinh), was started. This US$1.4 billion project should promote socio-economic development in the central region of Vietnam. It will also promote cooperation between members of economic triangle: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia.

The length of new four-lane expressway will be 140km, the permissible speed - up to 120kmh. It will be also equipped with maintenance centre, service centre and monitoring centre. The finishing of construction work is is scheduled for 2017 year.
