Japan will invest in Lao Airport

Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammawong and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reached an agreement on the project of International Vientiane Airport’s expansion. The Japanese Government will finance it.

Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammawong and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reached an agreement on the project of International Vientiane Airport’s expansion. The Japanese Government will finance it, but the total cost is still unknown.

As it is planned the international terminal will be expanded and new terminal for domestic flights will be built. This project is really important for the capital, because recently it doesn’t cope with the number of foreign passengers and the popularity of Laos is increasing.
