Air Asia offers new domestic flight in Malaysia

One of the main low cost airlines of Southeast Asia will launch a new domestic route in Malaysia. Direct flights from Kota Kinabalu to Kota Bharu will start on 1 December this year.

One of the main low cost airlines of Southeast Asia will launch a new domestic route in Malaysia. Direct flights from Kota Kinabalu to Kota Bharu will start on 1 December this year in order to promote domestic tourism. This route will be operated three times a week.

According to chief executive officer Aireen Omar, Air Asia will become the first airline which offers direct flights between two states. The decision to launch new route was based on high demand and on the large number of passengers travelling same route but with some stops.

The airline offers passengers low fares if they book until 24 November for travel from 1 December to 30 April 2014 year.
