Buses in Thailand are equipped with seat belts

Transport Co. Ltd. hold the majority of buses in Thailand announced that all its 854 vehicles were installed with sea-bealts to ensure passengers’safety. This initiative was provoked by traffic statistic.

Transport Co. Ltd. hold the majority of buses in Thailand announced that all its 854 vehicles were installed with sea-bealts to ensure passengers’safety. This initiative was provoked by traffic statistic. According to it 40% or 50% of all injuries in accidents occur in the absence of seat belts.

The Ministry of Transport is also drafting a law which will oblige transportation companies to use seat bealts in each vehicle. It is expected that this law to be put in place up to the end of this year.
