Malaysia is the best model for Indonesian rail projects

Indonesia intends to increase the strength of collaboration with Malaysia in the rail industry, because it is most similar to Indonesia in its possibilities and perspectives.

Indonesia intends to increase the strength of collaboration with Malaysia in the rail industry, because it is most similar to Indonesia in its possibilities and perspectives. A Malaysian section of UK-based Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) will support future Indonesian rail projects such as new monorail in Jakarta, which should be ready up to 2015 year.

Indonesia and Malaysia are also interested in Singapore’s experience and modern technologies in the rail industry. Joint efforts of the countries should promote the development of the all Southeast Asia region. David Weedon, the UK IRSE president also seconds the countries initiative.
