Jakarta is waiting for airport rail link

 As Deputy Transportation Minister of Indonesia, Bambang Susantono reported, the long-awaited project of express airport rail link will be implemented soon. It would connect the main airport of Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with the city.

As Deputy Transportation Minister of Indonesia, Bambang Susantono reported, the long-awaited project of express airport rail link will be implemented soon. It would connect the main airport of Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with the city. Now passengers are able to use taxies and buses only.

The Ministry expects, that express airport rail link will be put into operation in 2018 year and will be able to serve 40,000 people every day. It will have stops at in Halim Perdanakusuma in East Jakarta, Manggarai in South Jakarta, Dukuh Atas and Tanah Abang in Central Jakarta and Pluit in North Jakarta.


The ticket's price  on rail link should be much lower than taxi fares.
