The start date of the Vientiane – Yangon route was changed

Lao Airlines, the national carrier, reported that the date of launching a new route to Myanmar was changed. Flights from Vientiane to Yangon were rescheduled to late next year.

Lao Airlines, the national carrier, reported that the date of launching a new route to Myanmar was changed. Flights from Vientiane to Yangon were rescheduled to late next year. The supposed time of the opening – October 2014 year.

As representatives of Lao Airlines said, the company needs more time to develop a profitable marketing plan. It is going to cooperate with tour operators, which usually make their travel and booking plans one year ahead.

In addition the Airline sees potential in tourist markets of the Republic of Korea, China and Japan.
