Earthquake did not influence on Cebu Airport

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), the second busiest airport of the Philippines, declared its safety and denied reports that the runway was damaged in the quake.

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), the second busiest airport of the Philippines, declared its safety and denied reports that the runway was damaged in the quake.

In spite of some aftershocks still occur, Cebu Airport's work is completely renewed. The Airport Authority took a decision to close it for 3,5 hours after the quake to check its condition. No major damages were detected.

By the way MCIAA allocated a lot of money to support victims of the earthquake in Cebu and adjoining areas.
