Railway between Myanmar and China is in the limbo

The realization of widescale project the construction 868,262 kilometres Myanmar-Chinese high speed railway is still in the limbo. The Chinese government still continues to negotiate and doesn’t give its consent for US$20 billion budget.

The realization of widescale project the construction 868,262 kilometres Myanmar-Chinese high speed railway is still in the limbo. It would connect Kyaukphyu in Myanmar’s Rakhine State with Kunming in southern China and ensure the development of all region. 

However the Chinese government still continues to negotiate and doesn’t give its consent for US$20 billion budget. In despite of the common concern, the construction is planned to finish up to the 2015 year. After 50 years under the Chinese authority railway will be handed back to Myanmar.
