New tourism office in Danang welcomes first visitors

The Vietnamese tourism hub city of Danang has just opened a brand new visitor centre. The bureau is located on Bach Dang Street. This central thoroughfare runs up the left bank of the city’s Han River.

Announcing the opening, Danang Tourism Promotion officials said the new office would serve the twin purposes of giving tourist information and be the first point-of-call for emergencies. The spokesperson noted that the centre would deal with thefts or overcharging issues as well as accidents or medical emergencies.

The new centre will operate in conjunction with similar facilities near the Trung Vuong Theatre and at the city’s international airport and has been launched to provide greater convenience for tourists. There is also an international helpline in Danang for tourists requiring information or assistance. The telephone number is 0511 3550111.

While the city of Danang itself does not have a massive collection of its own attractions, it is within easy of the Marble Mountains, Hue and Hoi An. My Khe, aka China Beach, is the flagship of the nearby beach destinations.
