Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali will close

Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport will stop its work for a specific time from 5 to 9 October, when Heads of State will visit the APEC Summit on the island. All airlines serving Bali were informed about the limitations in Ngurah Rai Airport’s work.

 


Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport will stop its work for a specific time from 5 to 9 October, when Heads of State will visit the APEC Summit on the island. The airport’s Administration is going to assure safety of more than 1,200 members, which will arrive by private and presidential planes.  

All airlines serving Bali were informed about the limitations in Ngurah Rai Airport’s work. Some of them are looking for another place or time to land on Bali, another part took a decision to annul flights. So, Garuda Indonesia canceled its 139 flights, Air Asia  - 81.
